This was our 3rd Annual SEMA party held at
Sandlin Lumber. It was a fantastic evening
for all enthusiasts. At the door when
receiving name tags and door prize tickets,
we asked for a voluntary donation to the Las
Vegas Nazarene Church kids summer camp fund.
I'm proud to say that $3150 was raised. The
food and drinks provided by the generous
hospitality of Sandlin Lumber were enjoyed
by the estimated 250 in attendance. The
party started at 4pm and the door prize
giveaway's at 6pm which continued regularly
throughout the evening. There were many
notable cars on display, including the Twin
Turbo C6 ZO6 (making 900hp), the Inciner8or,
2 COPO's, including the lowest mileage
unrestored COPO in existence, the Class
Winning C6 ZO6 from this year's Silver State
Challenge, the RamJet ZL1 69 Chevelle, and
many many more.
A huge Thank You goes out to Steve and Jason
Sandlin. This event would never happen
without their efforts. I'd also like to
thank the the people from Lateral-g.net who
helped with the door prize give away, name
tags and donation jar. They are:
